Freelancer Marketplace
The Wellness Professionals Worldwide (WPW) Marketplace connects wellness professionals with each other. Offer your services, find talent for events and retreats, post your hiring needs, and track work through gig management.
Getting started
Section titled “Getting started”First-time setup
Section titled “First-time setup”- Navigate to Freelancer in the sidebar
- Go to Profile Settings
- Toggle Enable Freelancer Profile to ON
- Fill in your tagline, bio, availability status, and years of experience
- Create at least one service listing
Availability statuses
Section titled “Availability statuses”| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Available | Ready for new work (green badge) |
| Busy | May accept select projects (yellow badge) |
| Not Taking Work | Not accepting projects (gray badge) |
Managing your services
Section titled “Managing your services”Creating a service
Section titled “Creating a service”- Go to Freelancer > My Services
- Click Add Service
- Fill in: Title, Category, Description, Pricing Type, Price Range, Delivery Type, Tags
- Click Save Service
Pricing types

Delivery types

Browsing the marketplace
Section titled “Browsing the marketplace”The public marketplace at /freelancers includes:
- Search by service title, description, or provider name
- Filters for category, location, delivery type, price range, and availability
- Service cards showing provider info, rating, pricing, and delivery type
Posting needs
Section titled “Posting needs”Post what you’re looking for so freelancers can reach out:
- Go to the Needs tab on the marketplace
- Click Post a Need
- Fill in: Title, Category, Description, Budget Range, Location, Dates, Remote OK
- Click Post Need
Need statuses: Open, Filled, Closed.
Contacting freelancers
Section titled “Contacting freelancers”- Find a service or freelancer profile
- Click Contact Freelancer
- Write your message and send
- Continue discussing details through messaging
Gig management
Section titled “Gig management”Creating a gig
Section titled “Creating a gig”After agreeing on terms, create a gig to track work:
- From the conversation, click Create Gig
- Fill in: Title, Description, Agreed Price, Payment Type, Start/Due Dates
- Save the gig
Gig workflow
Section titled “Gig workflow”Pending → In Progress → Delivered → CompletedA gig can also be Cancelled from Pending or Disputed from Delivered/Completed.
Status transitions
Section titled “Status transitions”As the freelancer:
- Pending → Start Work → In Progress
- In Progress → Mark Delivered → Delivered
As the client:
- Delivered → Accept & Complete → Completed
- Delivered → Request Revision → Disputed
Reviews & ratings
Section titled “Reviews & ratings”After a gig is completed, both parties can leave reviews:
- Overall rating (1-5 stars)
- Detailed ratings for Communication, Quality, Timeliness, Professionalism
- Written review
Freelancers can respond to reviews they receive. Ratings appear on your freelancer profile and service cards.
Service categories
Section titled “Service categories”Available categories include: Yoga & Movement, Bodywork & Massage, Energy Healing, Nutrition & Coaching, Mental Wellness, Fitness & Training, Beauty & Aesthetics, Holistic Health, Creative & Arts, Event Services, Business Services, Education & Training.
