Plan and promote events, workshops, and retreats with full control over registration, attendee management, marketing, and check-in.
Creating an event
Section titled “Creating an event”- Click Create Event on the Events page
- Fill in the tabbed form:
Basic info
Section titled “Basic info”- Title (required), Description, Event Type (Open enrollment or Application Required)
- For application-based events: define custom application questions
Location
Section titled “Location”- Street address, city, state, ZIP
- Interactive map picker for coordinates
- Parking and accessibility information
Media & branding
Section titled “Media & branding”- Hero image, media gallery, video URL, social media links
Pricing & registration
Section titled “Pricing & registration”| Setting | Description |

Recurrence / series
Section titled “Recurrence / series”Create recurring events:
- Recurrence type (Weekly, Monthly), days, interval
- Registration per occurrence or series pricing
- End date or occurrence count
Reminders
Section titled “Reminders”- Enable automated reminders: 1 week, 3 days, 24 hours, or 2 hours before
- Channels: Email and/or SMS
Preview
Section titled “Preview”Review your event, then Save Draft or Publish Event.
Event statuses
Section titled “Event statuses”| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Not published |
| Published / Active | Live and accepting registrations |
| Full | Capacity reached |
| Past | Event date has passed |
| Cancelled | Event cancelled |
Managing events
Section titled “Managing events”Each event has actions: View Details, Manage Attendees, Manage Series, Marketing, Live Preview, Edit, Duplicate, Publish/Unpublish, Close Event, Cancel Event, Delete.
Click the star icon to feature an event on your public profile.
Attendee management
Section titled “Attendee management”Registrations
Section titled “Registrations”- Search attendees, view payment and attendance status
- Actions: Check In, Mark No-Show, Cancel Registration, Message
Applications (for application-based events)
Section titled “Applications (for application-based events)”- Review applications and custom question responses
- Approve or Decline
Waitlist
Section titled “Waitlist”When at capacity:
- View waitlist with position numbers
- Promote individuals from the waitlist
Check-in
Section titled “Check-in”On event day:
- Open the event check-in page
- QR Scanner — scan attendee QR codes
- Manual Check-In — search by name or email
- A live counter shows check-in progress
Event series
Section titled “Event series”Manage recurring event occurrences:
- View all occurrences with dates, registration counts, and statuses
- Generate More — create additional occurrences
- Publish All / Unpublish All — toggle all at once
Marketing
Section titled “Marketing”Compose campaigns
Section titled “Compose campaigns”- Choose recipients: My Contacts, My Network, Past Attendees, or attendees from specific events
- Choose channels: Email and/or SMS
- Write your message and send
History & analytics
Section titled “History & analytics”- Review past campaigns with delivery metrics
- Track total campaigns, messages sent, and average open rate
Event contacts
Section titled “Event contacts”Build your event community:
- My Contacts — people who registered for your events
- Network — people connected through shared event attendance
- Export contacts as CSV
