Messaging
Senavida provides built-in messaging so you can communicate securely with your care team.
Accessing messages
Section titled “Accessing messages”- Click Messages in the sidebar
- Your conversations are listed on the left, sorted by most recent activity
- Click a conversation to open it
Sending a message
Section titled “Sending a message”- Open a conversation with your provider
- Type your message in the input field at the bottom
- Press Enter to send (or Shift + Enter for a new line)
Your messages appear on the right side of the conversation. Provider messages appear on the left.
Starting a new conversation
Section titled “Starting a new conversation”- Click the New button at the top of the conversation list
- Select a provider from your connected team
- Type and send your first message
Voice messages
Section titled “Voice messages”Send audio messages when typing isn’t convenient:
- Click the microphone icon in the message input area
- Record your message — a timer shows the recording duration
- Click Stop when finished
- Preview the recording with the built-in audio player
- Click Send to deliver, or Cancel to discard
Voice messages are automatically transcribed to text, so your provider can read them as well.
Read receipts
Section titled “Read receipts”- A single checkmark means your message has been sent
- A double checkmark means the recipient has read your message
Real-time updates
Section titled “Real-time updates”Messages appear instantly without refreshing the page. The conversation list reorders automatically as new messages arrive, and unread counts update in real time.
When messaging is disabled
Section titled “When messaging is disabled”If your relationship with a provider becomes inactive, messaging for that conversation is disabled. A notice will appear explaining the situation.
